Here is an overview of the forum rules (PLEASE READ EVERYTHING):

1. Please register with either your FULL NAME or initials. With all due respect, your posts (and your account) will otherwise be removed.

If you already created an account without reading this and have not followed this naming convention, please change your Username to your FULL REAL NAME by logging in, and clicking on "Profile" at the top of the Forum. From there, you can retype your new username and even change your password if you'd like. Please help us all by capilalizing where appropriate.

Some examples: John Smith, John Q. Smith, Jeffrey Paul Jones, Jeff Jones Jr.

While there are special circumstances when members cannot reveal their full identities, these instances should be considered rare. If this is your case, please use your initials. Again, this is understood to be rarely necessary. Please help us all by capilalizing where appropriate.

Some examples: JQSmith, J Smith, JSmith, JohnS, JohnQS, JQS

NOTE: If you use an abbreviation as shown above, you must send a message to Kwan Lee (Site Admin) explaining what the abbreviation stands for. We will respect your privacy wishes, but this step is required.

Please also include some minor (or major) details about your interests so that we can all know a bit about you. This will help us realize your other interests as well as foster a better community experience. Another note is that the more you appear like a real person on these forums, the less likely others will consider your posts to be trollish in nature if you ruffle a few feathers here and there. There are, of course, exceptions.


2. As this forum is for discussions of Systema as presented by Mikhail Ryabko and Vladimir Vasiliev, no other advertisements of any kind (including products not endorsed by Vladimir or Mikhail) are to be posted on this forum. This also includes seminar announcements for Affiliate Instructors; these announcements should be submitted HERE.

Also, please be advised that posts that link to other sites or video content (e.g. YouTube) will only be allowed if they are supported by at least a brief description of the target site or what is being presented in the video content.

4. We would like to have the same atmosphere on the forum as at the Russian Martial Art training sessions - productive and informative, friendly and enjoyable. We ask you to keep your posts constructive and respectful.

5. Finally, please use the "Search" function clickable just under the top banner. This extremely useful tool will help you find previously addressed topics and answers to commonly asked questions. Please save other members and moderators the time of constantly reminding you to search before asking.
