Guayaquil, Ecuador. Unable to correctly pronounce the name of the largest city in Ecuador, I boarded a plane for my first trip to South America. I was joining experienced Systema Headquarters Instructor Frank Arias as well as Josh Fabia on one leg of their recent South American tour. For me this was both a journey to a new country and the first time I would be assisting in the training of newcomers to Systema.
